Powerball will be $28m for this Saturday's draw after going unclaimed on Wednesday night.

Three Lotto players have collected $333,333 each after sharing the winnings from the first division draw.

One winning ticket was sold at Fresh Choice in Te Awamutu, while the two others were sold via MyLotto to players in Rotorua and Wellington.

Strike four was also not won and will increase to $400,000 on Saturday.

There are set to be multiple changes to Lotto this month, including a rise in the number of Powerballs from 10 to 14, higher jackpot winnings and a brand new prize division.

Lotto believes this will create larger prizes and more chances to win big.
