A woman is facing 15 charges after four homes in Auckland's Sunnyhills were ransacked while owners holidayed.
The addresses were robbed of luxury handbags, jewellery and a vehicle in a haul police valued at more than $200,000.
Police received reports on Sunday of a burglary at a Fordyce Ave property in the east Auckland suburb, where a vehicle, several luxury handbags and other items were taken.
Inspector Rod Honan said the home had been targeted sometime between August 28 and 30.
"On Monday, police were made aware of the stolen vehicle spotted travelling in the Ōtāhuhu area," Honan said.
"The Police Eagle helicopter was able to quickly track the vehicle to an address in Mount Wellington where the sole occupant was taken into custody."
A search of the vehicle turned up a significant quantity of suspected stolen property, including luxury branded handbags, a bank card, jewellery and other personal items.
"Police also located burglary implements including bolt cutters, gloves, screwdrivers and other tools, along with a quantity of suspected methamphetamine," he said.
He said the investigation team was also looking into other burglaries in the area earlier in August, particularly in nearby Manor Park.
Police executed search warrants at Bucklands Beach and Mt Eden addresses, as well as a Mount Roskill storage unit, where several items of interest were found.
The woman has been remanded in custody and will appear in Manukau District Court on September 17.
She has been charged with receiving property, being unlawfully in a building, dangerous driving and possession of methamphetamine.
Honan said police were not ruling out further charges or arrests.
