A Southland man is yet to be found nearly five months after he was reported missing despite extensive inquiries into his disappearance.
Kevin Belling, 62, was last seen at his Motu Rimu farm in Kapuka on January 9 and as reported missing on January 18.
Police had completed "extensive searches" on his Caesar Rd property with the assistance of Land Search and Rescue, involving drones and foot team. Effluent ponds and waterways at the farm were searched.
Police also checked both bank and phone records, however, all inquiries have failed to find or shed light on Belling's whereabouts.
Detective Sergeant John Kean said police and Belling's family's concern was increasing as time passed.
"We continue to appeal to anyone who has any information that could help us find him," he said.
"Police urge the community to be vigilant and check their rural properties for any signs of Kevin."
Anyone with relevant information should contact police on 105.
